Responsibilities
- Post and manage loads on carrier boards.
- Source and book carriers while negotiating profitable rates.
- Verify carrier compliance, including insurance and safety requirements.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
- Track shipments and communicate with customers, carriers, and drivers.
- Resolve transportation issues and customer concerns promptly.
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.
- Hours:
8-5 M-F - Company paid benefits
- Transportation, logistics, or brokerage experience preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations is a plus.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
