Shipping Lead

The Shipping Lead oversees daily shipping and receiving operations in the manufacturing facility. This role ensures orders are processed accurately, inventory records are maintained, and shipments go out on time. The position also helps coordinate workflow and support the shipping team.

• Valid Nebraska driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or shipping environment preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.
• Previous leadership or lead experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills with experience using inventory or ERP systems required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.

• Help oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
• Prepare and process incoming and outgoing shipments according to order requirements.
• Verify part counts, quantities, and descriptions against shipping and receiving documents.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory information in the ERP system.
• Print labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and internal departments.
• Help prioritize daily shipping tasks and support workflow within the department.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory organization.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Train and support team members on shipping procedures as needed.
• Support other warehouse and inventory functions as needed.
