Transportation Maintenance & Operations, a division of Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) - the largest department in the City of Lincoln, is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Transportation Equipment Operator I to join our third shift Sanitation crew.

This Safety Sensitive position is subject to mandatory drug testing policies as a condition of employment.
Location: West District; 901 W Bond St - Sanitation
Hours:3rd Shift;
Regular
Schedule:
Sunday to Thursday; 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Subject to OT during emergencies. Summer Schedule (Memorial Day to Labor Day):
Monday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m.
- 6:30 a.m. (may vary based on seasonal needs).
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Six months of experience in the operation of trucks and construction equipment heavier than pleasure vehicles or pickup trucks
- Six months of experience in general construction activities
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills may be considered.
Necessary Special Requirement:- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Possession of a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and endorsements are required or the ability to obtain within 90 days of appointment.
