We are looking for an Installations Driver to join our Lincoln team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service, and enjoys working hands-on with technology whilst ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities- Load and secure equipment and peripherals onto installation vehicles, ensuring all items are protected from movement or damage during transit.
- Check all equipment against delivery documentation before departure.
- Communicate any delivery or installation issues promptly to the Logistics and Installation Management team.
- Provide customer training on the equipment being delivered.
- Collect traded-in equipment from customer sites, ensuring it is prepared correctly for transport and all collection paperwork is completed, including meter readings.
- Maintain company vehicles and report any defects or issues to the Transport Supervisor or Manager.
- Conduct daily safety checks on lifting equipment, including stair walkers, and ensure all vehicle-based equipment is fit for purpose.
- Comply with the Highway Code and company driving standards at all times.
- Accurately record destinations, mileage and fuel usage.
- Adhere to COSHH, Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
- Attend training courses and meetings as required.
- Working knowledge of EU Driving Regulations and Domestic Working Time Regulations.
- Ability to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes (Category C1).
- Full driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends and overnight stays.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
