QPS Employment Group has a great Shipping Clerk position available at a company in Lincoln, NE. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

• Pull customer orders using manual pick tickets without barcode or scanner verification.
• Accurately match product labels to pick ticket information, including similar model numbers and alphanumeric part codes.
• Verify correct quantities and product models prior to palletizing or packaging.
• Palletize finished orders safely and securely for shipment.
• Prepare Bills of Lading for outbound semi-truck shipments.
• Process small package shipments using carrier systems such as Fed Ex and UPS.
• Enter and verify shipping information using basic computer systems.
• Operate a forklift to move, stage, and load product (if certified).
• Load outbound shipments onto trucks in a safe and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and staging area.
• Communicate shipment issues, discrepancies, or shortages to supervisors promptly.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and material handling guidelines.

• Previous shipping, warehouse, or order-picking experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to differentiate similar product numbers.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and navigating shipping systems.
• Ability to read and accurately follow written pick tickets and instructions.
• Dependable work history and strong attendance record.
• Frequently stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. using team lift or equipment.
• Regular use of hands and arms for handling materials, packaging, and palletizing.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb on/off forklifts as needed.
