About the role
The Material Handler performs a wide variety of tasks focused on receiving, warehousing, delivering, shipping, and maintaining accurate inventories as required to support the Lincoln plant.
Responsibilities- Operates material handling equipment including standup forklifts, pallet jacks, powered pallet jacks, vacuhoist, carton clamp, and slip‑sheet attachment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensures material receipt, warehousing, and delivery to point of use to meet internal/external customer expectations, including shipments of finished goods to the off‑site Distribution Center.
- Loads and unloads trailers that move between the off‑site Distribution Center and the main site.
- Checks, verifies, and signs inbound freight from suppliers, then cleans and labels materials.
- Assists in completion of receipts and shipments as needed.
- Delivers all materials and product to work centers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintains material inventory quantity accuracy through physical counts and inventory management system transactions.
- Maintains material location accuracy via RF scanner.
- Checks out, operates, troubleshoots, cleans, and reports issues pertaining to material handling equipment.
- Maintains training on SOPs, Policies, GMPs, OSHA guidelines, and Safety Security & Environment guidelines.
- Maintains a high level of safety awareness, including participation in the ZAP program.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- 6+ months of related experience, such as material handling, warehousing, or forklift operation.
- Experience with SAP or another inventory management system.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Stand‑up forklift experience preferred for loading/unloading trailers and for storage in racking and bulk areas.
Lincoln, Nebraska. This is not a remote opportunity.
Shift1st Shift: Monday‑Friday, 6:00am‑2:30pm.
