We are an independent Coca-Cola Bottler with our corporate office located in Sioux City, Iowa. We have been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplying them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities- Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements
- Operate industrial power equipment
- Restock and replenish supplies, as appropriate
- Perform general maintenance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Fill in for other positions, as needed
- Manually lift and move product to restock and repack area, ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
- Use appropriate manual, or powered material handling equipment (is., pallet jack, hand-truck, etc.) to move product and materials from/to designated locations
- Assist with the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
- High-School Diploma/GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Previous forklift experience is preferred
- Communication Skills
- Dexterity Skills
- Ability to operate a manual, powered pallet jack, or lift
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Problem Solving
- MUST be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with coworkers and supervisor and to operate equipment
Works in a warehouse. Temperature can be very hot and humid during the warmer months. May work extended hours to complete loading.
Physical Requirements- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
