Job DescriptionLincoln Public Schools is seeking a part-time (19 3/4 hours per week) School Clerk/Aide for Lonsdale Elementary for the 2026/2027 school year. Function:
Provide a range of duties contributing to the efficient operation of the school office and assist teachers as needed. Serves as the backup to school administrative assistant. Responsibilities and duties include: serving as the backup to the main office school administrative assistant to cover for breaks and absences, greeting visitors and staff personally or via phone, determining needs and responding appropriately to requests, performing standard office duties as instructed, including but not limited to placing and receiving phone calls, making copies, scheduling meetings and appointments, composing correspondence, reports, notices, ordering supplies, and maintaining a regular filing system, assisting main office school administrative assistant, as needed/necessary, assisting teachers in classroom activities and assisting nurse in general nurse's office duties, supervising children outside of the classroom as well as inside, i.e. cafeteria, playground and in hallways, completing additional tasks necessary for the smoother operation of the school, performing all related tasks as assigned by the School Principal/Administrator.
182 day position (school year). If hired, please note that you will need to provide the following: nationwide fingerprinting BCI check results, completed W4, completed I9 form with supporting documentation. Position Type:

- Minimum qualifications:
high school diploma, proficiency in typing, word processing, and office computer applications, and other clerical skills, ability to work effectively with students, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public, at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Complete the School Spring application. Include three letters of reference. If hired, please note that you will need to provide the following: nationwide fingerprinting BCI check results, completed W4, completed I9 form with supporting documentation.
The minimum qualifications listed above are required of all applicants for this position. Additional qualifications shall include, but not be limited to the following: personal integrity, sense of humor, patience, ability to discern essentials, willingness to promote the general goals of the school district.
