Job Overview

FSSI East Inc. is looking for a full-time Mail Operations (Production) Support to join our 1st shift team in Lincoln, Rhode Island. This position is responsible for cross‑training in various positions when the need arises due to vacations, call outs or high‑volume days, in addition to performing standard daily operational duties in the mailing department.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (1st shift). In addition, overtime may be required on an as‑needed basis to support business operations, including longer daily schedules or weekend work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist or provide coverage in Mailing and Quality Assurance.
  • Move stock and materials from warehouse to assigned location on the Inserter.
  • Sign off on mail pieces throughout the inserting cycle.
  • Operate Mailroom Inserters well enough to fill in on an as‑needed basis.
  • Copy and scan documentation if required.
  • Follow company policies and safety regulations.
  • Report unsafe facility and vehicle issues to management.
  • Perform other duties assigned as needs change.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including frequent work of 10+ hours per day on a recurring basis.
Requirements

Effective written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, strong attention to detail and multi‑tasking skills, and PC literacy. Intermediate level knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must possess a strong customer service philosophy and attitude, work effectively and independently, and work with all levels of employees. Must be flexible with shift and available overtime. Maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Education

and/or Relevant Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be well organized and have strong time‑management skills.
  • Must handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and/or fingers to grasp, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; stand, walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift/move up to 40 pounds independently. Specific vision required includes close, distant, and peripheral vision, and focus adjustments.

Steel‑toed footwear must be worn at all times.
