Job DescriptionLincoln Middle School is seeking a long‑term substitute 8th Grade ELA teacher for the school year.
Responsibilities- Teach 8th Grade ELA curriculum as directed by the school district.
- Prepare and deliver lessons, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teaching staff on instructional strategies.
- Follow district policies and support a positive learning environment.
- Experience in a similar substitute teaching role (preferred).
- Current Rhode Island certification as Secondary Grades English Teacher (Grades 6-12) (required).
- Successful interview and meeting of school district hiring standards.
- Ability to submit 3 current letters of reference and transcript via School Spring application.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa verified upon hire.
- Fingerprinting required upon offer of employment.
Submit a complete School Spring application, including cover letter, resume, 3 letters of reference, transcripts, and proof of current RIDE certification.
