The Role:Cage Main Banker
This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory Policies and Procedures while performing assigned duties in the Main Bank and Marker Bank.
Responsibilities- Responsible for accuracy in controlling the bank roll and departmental records/documentation/reports for Cage and Food and Beverage Departments in the Main Bank.
- Facilitates the transfer of funds, coupons, cash equivalents, etc. to and from Cashier Booths, Count Room and any other necessary area/s as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining the bank, associated equipment and surrounding work area.
- Reports to Cage Cashier Supervisor/above.
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of Main Bank and/or Marker Bank.
- Responsible for all cash, coin, coupons and cash equivalents in the Main Bank.
- Responsible for all marker activity and associated paperwork in the Marker Bank.
- Maintains confidentiality with regards to credit documentation in the Marker Bank.
- Verifies documents and maintains guest’s Front Money and Marker accounts in detail.
- Knowledge of company and departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Complies with all Title 31 requirements and completes and passes annual testing.
- Promotes teamwork and cooperation with Supervisors, co-workers and internal guests.
- Maintain integrity of the Bank.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have two years coin/currency handling experience. Must be extremely numbers oriented and computer literate.
- Must have knowledge of 10-key and balancing. Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, friendly manner.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be available to work various shifts, flexible hours and weekends.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending and lifting 25-30 pounds.
- Exposed to bright lights in secured work area.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
