Sr. Financial​/Cost Analyst

Overview

The Senior Financial/Cost Analyst will support North America operations including the manufacturing facility in Sandpoint, Idaho. Provide in-depth cost analytics to assist leadership in growing the business. The Analyst will work cross-functionally with all departments to enable data-driven decisions.

• Participate in month-end closing, preparing periodic reporting schedules and disclosures for monthly, quarterly, and year-end review and audit processes
• Analyze, research, and resolve issues with subledger transactional data for proper coding and posting to the general ledger
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to source data and research discrepancies to ensure timely resolution of financial statements and proper cost allocation according to accounting policies
• Provide analysis of general ledger account budget to actual variances
• Establish and maintain cost information for standard costs, inventory valuation, profitability measurement, and waste
• Assist in preparing monthly forecasts and the annual budget
• Assist with annual physical inventory, cycle counts, approvals, and reporting to Operations and Financial management
• Identify processes and internal controls improvements and work with management to develop and implement solutions
• Recommend improvements to systems and processes to better provide cost information to meet organizational objectives
• Train and explain cost accounting policies and procedures to manufacturing managers and personnel

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business field
• 3+ years of industry experience preferred
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office

• Experience with Net Suite is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting
• Proven ability to set and meet deadlines and manage multiple financial matters
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• The salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 plus bonus, commensurate with experience and credentials
