Full-time Human Resources Director opportunity at a Skilled Nursing Facility in the Northern Rhode Island Area!
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 9am-5pm
70k-80k annually
Responsibilities:- Manage daily HR activities and provide support to employees and facility leadership.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring employee pay and hours are properly recorded.
- Maintain organized and confidential personnel files and employee records.
- Address employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues in a professional manner.
- Assist with performance management and employee documentation.
- Support employee retention, engagement, and recognition initiatives.
- Help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee questions regarding HR programs.
- Participate in audits, reporting, and other HR projects as needed.
- Partner with facility leadership to support staffing needs and overall operational goals.
- Previous Human Resources experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, or similar setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with employees and leadership.
- Ability to handle employee relations concerns with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information.
- Comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and workplace compliance requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and payroll systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with facility leadership and staff.
