Sheet Metal Fabricator

Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment. This position involves interpreting blueprints, operating specialized tools and machinery, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing or workshop environment.

• Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components using hand tools, shears, and press brakes.
• Operate welding equipment (TIG, MIG, or spot welding) to join metal parts.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools, machinery, and workstations.
• Select appropriate materials for fabrication and ensure inventory levels are adequate.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related field.
• Proficiency in using metal fabrication tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.
