Digital Print Machine Operator – 2nd shift (Monday‑Friday, 4:00 pm – 12:30 am). Additional overtime may require coming in earlier or staying later during high‑volume production cycles, and may include weekend work. The role requires working in a fast‑paced production environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Operation of various digital printing equipment/machinery
- Quality control of all printed output
- Accurate accountability of all materials used and all printed output
- Clear communication of any issues to Supervisor or Manager
- Consistent communication with Mail Services team to meet Service Level Agreements
- Attention to detail for accurate and high‑quality printing of multiple jobs on multiple printers
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace
- Work as a team player with other Print Operators, Operations teams, Management, and the Client Service team
- Consistently follow and practice all policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years of printer operation experience preferred
- Strong organization, time‑management, multi‑tasking, and attention to detail skills required
- Must work well in a team‑setting
Regularly required to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch while operating printers. Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision required by this job includes close, distant, and peripheral vision, and focus adjustments. Use of a hand truck, carts, and pallet jacks for pushing and pulling materials. Hands and arms used for loading and unloading printers, and clearing printer jams as needed.
