Returns Associate

General Summary of Position

The Returns Associate processes incoming returns accurately, verifies RMAs, inspects product condition, and updates system records. This role ensures timely disposition — restock, repair, or scrap—while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting customer credit issuance.

• Receive and log returned goods; verify against RMA and order records.
• Inspect items for condition and completeness, document findings.
• Update ERP/WMS with return status and inventory movements.
• Restock acceptable items and route nonconforming items appropriately.
• Print documentation and labels for return‑to‑vendor (RTV) when required.
• Perform basic quality checks and elevate discrepancies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0‑2 years of returns processing or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs safely.
• Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with ERP/WMS.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

• Experience with RMA processes and RTV documentation.
• Knowledge of basic quality inspection standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
