Conduct detailed First Article Inspections (FAI) for laser and turret operations; perform random floor audits to troubleshoot quality issues in real-time;
Inspect and approve/reject materials sent for secondary operations such as manufacturing; manage incoming vendor receipts against strict specifications;
Verify centerlines, assembly layouts, and physical properties of orders, sheets, and materials using calibrated equipment;
Compare shop drawings to finished assemblies; generate Discrepant Material Reports (DMR) for rejected parts and maintain meticulous inspection logs;
Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and compliant with ISO codes; coordinate annual audits with external vendors
