Job OverviewAre you a fully qualified electrician, capable of performing EICR inspections? If so, we are looking for you! We are Spericle group of companies, operating a property and lettings management business and a buildings and maintenance firm. We maintain our current stock of properties and are embarking on new building projects that require your expertise. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with current electrical codes and safety standards.
Residential, commercial or industrial experience, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship are essential.
- Collaborate with the office and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently, on time, and to budget.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Complete work reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Perform timely and efficient EICR inspections for company properties.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, identifying hazards and recommending solutions.
- Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure installations are compliant with national and local electrical codes.
- Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years experience as a qualified electrician.
- Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- 2391 Testing and inspection qualification.
- Experience with 1st and 2nd Fixing.
- Proven experience in domestic, commercial, and/or industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
