The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our Engineering team at our busy industrial site in Lincoln.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining, installing and improving electrical systems across site, ensuring plant, equipment and facilities operate safely, efficiently and in full compliance with regulations.
You will support production through rapid response to breakdowns, planned preventative maintenance, and involvement in site improvement projects, contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in accordance with electrical safety legislation and established site procedures.
Carry out all electrical tasks in full compliance with statutory regulations, applicable standards and internal compliance policies.
Install, service and enhance site lighting systems, incorporating energy-efficient solutions where appropriate.
Undertake mechanical and electrical (M&E) installation work to support production requirements, facilities maintenance and site improvement projects.
Conduct testing, inspection and certification of electrical installations (where appropriately qualified), ensuring accurate records are completed and maintained for compliance purposes.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including site enhancements and system modifications.
Adhere strictly to health and safety policies at all times, actively supporting and promoting a strong safety culture.
Skills, Experience & Competencies
Proven experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations.
Experience with lighting installations, upgrades and energy efficiency projects.
Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance systems.
Strong safety-focused mindset with consistent adherence to health and safety procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Reliable and accountable, taking ownership of tasks through to completion.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with production teams, maintenance colleagues and contractors.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and accurate record keeping.
Proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and development.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognised electrical qualification).
City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

- Thursday 06:00- 14:00/ Friday 06:00- 11:30
Week 2
- Monday
- Thursday 14:00- 22:00/ 14:00- 19:30
