Maintenance Electrician

Here at ISS, as a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider we are looking to recruit a qualified Electrician to join our team at our client in Lincoln within a business park.

The site consists of two main buildings, one being a corporate office and the other a testing facility. The customer are a defence sector manufacture and so this is a secure facility. Any applicants would need to be eligible to clear a Government Security Clearance check.

Working on site, you would adhere to a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) regime with an electrical focus while completing reactive repairs. There will also be some mechanical and general building fabric repairs to complete too.

While you are the lone ISS Engineer on site reporting to the Facilities Manager, you would also escort sub contractors.

A list of duties will include:

• Responsibility for electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
• Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include basic fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks.
• To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Issue of Permits to Work.
• Ensure that all electrical equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria

We need from you:

• Full electrical qualifications including 18th Edition
• Ability to pass the Security clearance check
