We're recruiting for experienced HGV Technicians to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Lincoln.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a long-term position with a structured rotating shift pattern, excellent earning potential and additional Saturday overtime.

Shift Pattern
Week 1 - Early Shift
Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 3:30pm

Week 2 - Late Shift
Monday - Friday: 1:00pm - 10:30pm

Rotating Saturday
7:00am - 12:00 midday
Saturday hours paid at time and a half.

The Role
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

· Inspecting and repairing HGVs to DVSA standards.

· Carrying out servicing and preventative maintenance.

· Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing.

· Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.

· Carrying out general mechanical and electrical repairs.

· Attending off-site breakdowns when required.

· Completing repair documentation and job sheets accurately.

· Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

· Working as part of a professional workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime.

About You
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician with:

· Relevant NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.

· Previous HGV or commercial vehicle maintenance experience.

· Strong mechanical and diagnostic fault-finding skills.

· A reliable and professional approach to work.

· Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

· The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Main dealer experience is advantageous, but candidates from all commercial vehicle backgrounds will be considered.
