Ambitek is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and respected organisation that is a trusted partner to the social housing and wider public sector. They specialise in delivering essential heating, energy efficiency and compliance solutions to thousands of homes across the UK.
The RoleAs an Electrician, you will attend domestic and commercial properties throughout the Lincoln and Grantham region, carrying out electrical testing, inspection, remedial works and new heating system installations while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) within domestic properties.
- Complete fault finding, testing and remedial electrical works.
- Undertake periodic testing and wiring installations for new domestic heating systems.
- Install and maintain electrical components associated with domestic heating and hot water systems.
- Work across a range of domestic and commercial properties.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and company quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service when working within occupied properties.
- Accurately complete job reports and certification using both electronic and manual systems.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation, including Risk Assessments, COSHH and Safe Systems of Work.
- Manage stock effectively and ensure required materials are available to complete jobs.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience carrying out EICRs and remedial works
- Experience working on domestic heating and hot water systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- * Full UK Driving Licence
- £41,000 annual salary
- Permanent, full-time position
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
