As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to a high standard
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required
- Using modern diagnostic equipment to investigate vehicle faults
- Completing repairs efficiently and in line with manufacturer and safety standards
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed time frames
- Maintaining accurate job cards and workshop documentation
- Supporting and mentoring junior or developing Technicians where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
- Working closely with the wider aftersales and workshop team
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician with:
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
- The ability to carry out repairs to a high standard
- A positive and proactive approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A willingness to continue learning and developing your technical skills
- A full UK Driving Licence
Experience with in a dealership or manufacturer environment would be advantageous, although strong automotive workshop experience will also be considered.
