Position: Experienced Arable Operator job in Lincolnshire
Location: Greater Lincolnshire

Experienced Arable Operator An opportunity has arisen on a 3,200-acre estate, forming part of a larger group of family-owned estates, based just south of the Humber. We are seeking a team player to join us and slot in alongside our current staff. The estate grows a mix of arable and root crops, alongside environmental and bio-energy crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sprayer, tractor, crawler and loader operation
  • Cultivations, drilling and application of crop inputs
  • General farm and estate duties, including machinery maintenance and workshop tasks
  • Responsibilities are not strictly limited by a fixed job description and will depend on the skills, experience, and interests of the successful candidate
Required Qualifications:
  • PA1 & PA2a
  • Telehandler
  • Crawler / H licence
Ideal Additional Qualifications (desirable but not essential training can be provided for the right candidate):
  • Combine experience
  • Chainsaw certificate
  • Industrial forklift
  • Other heavy plant experience

Associated skillsets are welcomed, as plant operation, building, and fabrication are undertaken on the farm.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Be practical, reliable, and motivated, with a flexible and proactive attitude to work
  • Have a mechanical mindset with a tidy and organised approach to the workplace
  • Be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and willing to work as required during busy periods
