DescriptionThe Substitute Coordinator supports the school's daily operations by ensuring consistent, reliable coverage for instructional and operational needs. This role is responsible for coordinating substitute teachers and staff and responding in real time to staffing needs across the building. Responsibilities include scheduling substitutes for instructional, clerical, and testing assignments; onboarding substitutes through initial meetings and required documentation; maintaining accurate records; and troubleshooting coverage issues as they arise.
The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- High School Diploma Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, student, parents, and the community
- Ability to work productively in an active environment
- Knowledge of office technology and procedures
- Experience with the Google suite
SSSA Agreement (all support staff positions at Stevenson High School shall be paid no less than $17.75/hour). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.
