Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, you’ll step into a fast-moving operation where thousands of SKUs and 20,000+ containers annually demand precision, urgency, and calm under pressure. This role immediately strengthens compliance execution today, with an opportunity for growth to take ownership of specific business units over time.
Location:Buffalo Grove, IL area Status:

- Provide hands‑on operational support to manage high‑volume import/export activity
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, EAR, and related regulations
- Support thousands of SKUs and approximately 20,000 containers annually
- Execute HTS classification, valuation, country of origin, AD/CVD, FTAs
- Assign ECCNs and determine export license requirements
- Assist with audits, post‑entry reviews, and regulatory inquiries
- Partner cross‑functionally with logistics, supply chain, and legal teams
- Help transition compliance from reactive “firefighting” to structured business unit ownership
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Experience in high‑volume manufacturing or automotive environments strongly preferred
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑throughput setting
- Experience managing thousands of SKUs and large container volumes
- U.S. Customs Broker License preferred, not required
