• Maintain strong content knowledge in secondary Mathematics and implement differentiation to meet the needs of students with varied backgrounds and interests.
• Foster student collaboration and classroom discourse; collaborate with colleagues to create learning standards and common assessments, engage in team-based remediation, and continually improve learning strategies as part of a continuous improvement mindset.
• As an exceptional candidate, mentor multilingual students and support literacy development within a mathematics classroom; promote belonging and accelerate learning to achieve outcomes.
• Apply standards-based grading, integrate instructional technology, and design inclusive classrooms honoring diverse abilities, heritages, and beliefs; incorporate social-emotional learning in instruction.

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator's License (PEL) with a secondary Mathematics endorsement.
• Preference for candidates with an ESL endorsement.
