Job Summary
This position will collaborate with team members to design residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Technical tasks include but are not limited to conceptual site layout, utility design; roadway design; site grading design; storm drain design; storm water management design; water and sanitary sewer main design; soil erosion and sedimentation control design; floodplain studies; permitting and entitlement support; and construction support (2026 start).
Accountabilityand Duties
- Designs site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
- Prepares and computes, but not limited to due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer opinion of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, earthwork analysis.
- Assists in production of final construction drawings.
- Prepares permit applications for applicable municipal agencies.
- Assists project managers as requested.
- Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
- Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
- Attends client and public meetings–days or evenings.
- Participates in business development efforts as requested.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to interact with a variety of people.
- Adaptable and able to respond quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be fluent in the English language.
- Available to work nights and weekends to complete projects as necessary.
- Proficient in MS Office. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four‑year college or university. 0‑2 years related experience.
Physical Demand- Frequent sitting, talking, talking, and hearing; occasional standing, walking, use of hands, reaching with hands and arms; stooping, kneeling, crouch, crawl.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Occasional work in outside weather conditions, possibly for extended assignments.

$67,000 - $80,400 USD
