Role Description

We are seeking an FAA-certified Aircraft Component Technician to support our Parts Lab, which is a FAA Part 145 accessory‑rated repair station. In this hands‑on role, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, test, and prepare aircraft components for return to service. Components may include seating systems, galley equipment, lighting assemblies, batteries, electric motors, valves, oxygen system components, and other aircraft accessories within the repair station’s capabilities.

This position requires strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work from approved data in a regulated production repair environment. The ideal candidate understands component‑level maintenance, FAA compliance expectations, quality documentation, and the importance of safety, traceability, and workmanship.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of hands‑on aircraft component, accessory, or aviation maintenance experience in a Part 145 repair station, airline, MRO, or OEM environment.
  • FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant Certificate (A&P), active and in good standing.
  • Familiarity with Aircraft Structures and Aircraft Systems
  • Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, torque tools, multimeters, etc.)
  • Understanding of FAA/EASA regulations and ability to ensure adherence
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work at a bench for extended periods.
  • Work is performed in a repair station/shop environment with exposure to typical aviation maintenance materials, tools, equipment, and safety requirements.
