Job OverviewThis role is responsible for driving spec-in activities for power equipment (e.g., LV, MV and HV circuit breakers, transformers, protection relays, switch gear, ESS, power quality equipment, etc.) at major accounts such as Big Tech companies (Cloud service provider, Hyperscaler, global tech firms), large enterprises (data centers, finance, telecom, manufacturing, semiconductor, battery, etc.) and, where relevant, EPC/engineering partners.
By engaging projects from the early design stage and having our products specified in technical documents, the role aims to maximize win probability and secure new and repeat business. The position requires strong technical understanding combined with customer‑facing communication skills.
What You’ll Do- Identify and manage target accounts such as Big Tech companies, global technology firms, data center operators, and large enterprises across key industries.
- Organize and manage specification and technology review meeting and events.
- Define strategies to meet each account’s requirements.
- Customer Specification & Design Support
- Review and analyze customer technical specifications, drawings, and tender requirements.
- Highlight and propose the technical advantages and differentiators of company products for inclusion in customer specs.
- Prepare and coordinate responses with relevant teams to customer technical queries in terms of technical perspectives.
- Technical Proposal & Pre-Sales Activities
- Prepare technical proposals, data sheets, and C/D/E tables; deliver technical presentations as needed.
- Plan and conduct customer technical seminars, workshops, and product introduction sessions.
- When required, reside (be stationed) at the customer site to provide on‑site technical support.
- Internal Collaboration & Team Support
- Work closely with LS Electric Global R&D, Product Design and Engineering, Quality, Production, and Sales teams to develop spec‑compliant and optimized technical solutions.
- After order intake, coordinate with internal teams to ensure contract terms, delivery, and technical conditions are met, if necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or 5+ year experience in power equipment, electrical systems, power distribution, or related fields
- 5+ year work experience at Tier‑1 manufacturers including Schneider electric, Siemens, Eaton and GE/ABB, or 5+ year at other power equipment or system manufacturers.
- Understanding of power systems and power equipment (single‑line diagrams, system configuration, short‑circuit capacity, protection coordination, etc.).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with cross‑functional internal teams and external stakeholders (engineering, facility, procurement).
- Experience in technical sales, spec‑in, or solution proposal for enterprise customers
- Strong documentation and presentation skills (MS Office, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills
