Sr. Credit Analyst

Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 Annually

Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm On Site

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Sr. Credit Analyst to join our team in Lincolnshire. In this position, you will evaluate the credit profile of business customers, help guide smart risk decisions, and collaborate closely with sales, finance, and accounts receivable teams.

You will report directly to the Credit Manager and have meaningful visibility across the organization.

• Assess the financial stability and credit risk of new and existing customers
• Analyze financial statements, industry conditions, and payment histories to make informed credit decisions
• Manage daily workflow within the credit order queue and online customer systems
• Partner with the accounts receivable team to resolve discrepancies and arrange payment solutions
• Maintain proactive communication with the sales team to ensure strong cross-functional alignment
• Recommend accounts for collections or write-off in accordance with company guidelines when necessary
• Prepare and present monthly reporting on receivables, collection efforts, and overall credit exposure
• Contribute to the enhancement of credit and collections policies and best practices
• Provide insights into customer payment behavior to support cash flow forecasting
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with quarterly credit line reviews and ongoing account maintenance
• Step in to support credit management responsibilities when needed, including temporarily overseeing the credit approval process and risk management activities under executive supervision

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least two years of continuous experience in a credit-focused role /li>
• Background in accounts receivable, credit analysis, or collections strongly preferred
• NACM accreditation or participation in credit association meetings is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and sound decision-making skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Confident communication and negotiation abilities
• Professionalism when handling sensitive customer and sales interactions
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Net Suite
