Client Relations Associate will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service, supporting advisors, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, helping maintain strong relationships while ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and compliance in all client interactions.
What You'll Do:- Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries and service requests
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
- Assist clients with account-related questions, paperwork, and follow-ups
- Coordinate client meetings, including preparation and post-meeting follow-up
- Prepare and process new account applications and onboarding documentation
- Handle account maintenance requests (transfers, distributions, beneficiary updates, etc.)
- Monitor account activity and ensure timely execution of transactions
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM and custodial platforms
- Support advisors in meeting preparation, including performance reports and financial planning materials
- Generate client reports and assist in portfolio review preparation
- Track and follow up on outstanding client action items
- Assist with implementation of financial plans and investment recommendations
- Ensure all activities comply with SEC/FINRA regulations and firm policies
- Maintain organized client files and documentation (digital and physical)
- Assist with compliance audits, reporting, and documentation requests
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency
- Coordinate with custodians, third-party providers, and internal teams
- Manage task workflows and deadlines to ensure timely service delivery
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or recent graduate
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, or client service is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Internal Application Policy:
Internal applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra. Internal applicants must also have a minimum of 1 year service in current role unless approved by EVP.
