The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager II, Ad-Tech at our R&D Lab in Lincolnshire, IL. This is a 100% onsite position.

The Product Manager, Ad-Tech will lead and evolve LG’s advertising technology strategy across LG Commercial Displays
, with a primary focus on the Pro:

Centric Platform
and other enterprise-grade video solutions. This role emphasizes ad technology expertise and influences adjacent monetization opportunities enabled by advertising surfaces and data.

This role is explicitly focused on commercial and B2B environments and does not include retail consumer or direct-to-consumer TV products.

While advertising technology is the core responsibility, the Product Manager, Ad-Tech will also help shape and inform broader monetization opportunities—including upsell capabilities, loyalty and micro-spend mechanics, and transactional offerings
—where advertising data, placement, or demand signals can unlock incremental revenue.

In this role you will work closely with internal and external ad agencies
, LG HQ
, and the Lincolnshire engineering team to translate advertising and monetization opportunities into scalable, compliant platform capabilities.

The scope includes commercial hospitality and non-traditional enterprise environments such as hotels, cruise lines, fitness and wellness facilities, fuel/gas stations, retail locations, transportation hubs, and other locations powered by LG Commercial Displays
.

Business Strategy & Commercial Ownership
  • Own the advertising technology and monetization strategy for LG Commercial Displays and the Pro:

    Centric Platform.
  • Act as the business owner for where, when, and how advertising is deployed
    , balancing revenue, user experience, and client value.
  • Influence adjacent monetization models (upsells, transactions, loyalty-based spend) where ad technology, targeting, or inventory enable incremental revenue.
  • Build business cases and ROI models for new ad formats, placements, and monetization extensions.
  • Partner with sales, partnerships, and finance to align ad-tech decisions with revenue targets and market demand.
  • Define and own the ad-tech product vision and roadmap for LG Commercial Displays.
  • Lead strategy across ad serving, targeting, measurement, and optimization for enterprise video environments.
  • Identify opportunities where ad technology can support:
  • Contextual upsell and premium feature enablement
  • Loyalty points, credits, and micro-spend mechanics
  • Services and experiences such as excursions, bookings, and on-screen transactions
  • Ensure monetization capabilities are modular, configurable, and scalable across different client types and industries.
  • Own and drive revenue outcomes across advertising, upsell, and transactional monetization models.
  • Design, test, and optimize monetization surfaces including:
  • Static/display banners and on-screen promotions
  • Video advertising using VAST and related standards
  • Upsell prompts, premium features, and contextual offers
  • Loyalty-based and micro-spend mechanics
