AI Project Manager Job Lincolnshire area,Illinois USA,IT/Tech

This role will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a portfolio of AI-driven initiatives, including internal applications, automation solutions, and agent-based tools. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in project delivery along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving AI environment. This individual will work across technical and business teams to ensure projects are properly scoped, prioritized, and delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple AI-related projects and initiatives
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, data, and business stakeholders
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and track progress across initiatives
Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers to ensure timely delivery
Maintain documentation including requirements, plans, and status reporting
Communicate project status and key updates to stakeholders and leadership
Support prioritization and alignment across competing initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in IT project or program management
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data-driven applications
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience supporting AI, data, or analytics initiatives
Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern application architectures
Experience working with cross-functional and/or vendor-supported teams
Relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum, etc.)
