What

We're Looking For

Respond to customer tickets and work on various cloud projects involving automation, security, cost management, or operations. Cloud experience is necessary in either AWS, Azure or GCP. Should be automation and security focused. A self‑starter who can work autonomously but also fit in well with our current team dynamic.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Enhance the automation and scripting efforts of the cloud team to identify and automate as much routine deployment, configuration, and other operational work as necessary.
  • Monitor and facilitate a secure cloud environment that follows the best practices around least privileged and zero trust.
  • Ensure all cloud environments have the proper security and access controls in place to guarantee a trusted and secure environment.
  • Address vulnerability concerns whenever possible.
  • Monitor cloud costs across all environments and deploy best practices around Fin Ops to strive towards cost optimization and accurate cost visibility.
  • Contribute to install, configure, and troubleshoot server and non‑desktop computer hardware, software, systems and other resources in a data center or other centralized computer network setting.
  • Consult with the team to uphold access control, data integrity, and file system security for the computer/data center environment.
  • Contribute to monitor, track and record system performance and utilization metrics.
  • Create and develop information technology and infrastructure projects which support on/off premise and Infrastructure‑as‑a‑Service solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team regarding internal or external client‑focused work, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.
  • Collaborate with the team regarding company‑wide, web‑enabled and cloud‑technology solutions.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree).
  • 5+ years of experience (equivalently, candidates with 3+ years of relevant Zebra experience, inclusive of participation in the ITDP program).
  • Python, Jenkins, Terraform or similar for automation and CI/CD type support.
  • Cloud experience including AWS (Amazon), Azure (Microsoft) and/or GCP (Google).

  • Initiative to fix issues when identified.
  • Not afraid to speak up.
  • Organized and strong follower of proper documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience supporting both IT and product teams.
  • Demonstrated technical experience.

  • Broad knowledge of applicable IT systems and applications.
  • Experience developing new systems and tools.
  • Experience in documenting and maintaining up‑to‑date system procedures.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
