Job Description

We are seeking a Materials Planner to manage end-to-end material planning and drive service, inventory, and operational performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role sits at the center of operations—partnering with production, procurement, and suppliers to ensure the right materials are available at the right time to meet customer demand.

You will play a key role in optimizing planning parameters, improving supply chain performance, and supporting new product introductions while driving continuous improvement across the planning process.

What You’ll Do
  • Own material planning and replenishment to ensure on-time delivery while balancing inventory levels and production capacity
  • Maintain and optimize SAP planning parameters (e.g., safety stock, lead times, supplier data) to improve system accuracy and performance
  • Analyze demand, supply constraints, and production schedules to proactively identify risks and prevent shortages or excess
  • Manage purchase orders, monitor system recommendations, and follow through on changes to maintain supply continuity
  • Partner cross-functionally with production, procurement, sales, and suppliers to resolve supply chain issues and drive alignment
  • Lead supplier escalations and collaborate on solutions to improve delivery performance and responsiveness
  • Track and improve key KPIs such as service levels, inventory, and cost performance
  • Support new product launches, phase-ins/outs, and engineering changes while minimizing obsolescence risk
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and data accuracy
Why This Role
  • High-visibility role partnering with multiple functions across the business
  • Opportunity to drive real impact on delivery performance and inventory optimization
  • Exposure to new product launches and supply chain strategy
  • Continuous improvement focus with the ability to influence processes
Qualifications What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of supply chain planning experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
