Senior Quality Operations Manager - Manufacturing

Purpose Statement

The Senior Manager of Quality Operations will lead and enhance the quality management systems and operational excellence within the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet stringent quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

• Accountable to execute on Plexus' Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
• Lead and drive quality excellence by partnering with various functional leads to ensure quality capability that meets or exceeds manufacturing requirements and standards in order to deliver quality products.
• Guide engineers to respond effectively to customers' feedback or Corrective Action Preventive Actions (CAPAs) as well as follow up with quality metrics set in quality plan.
• Provide technical leadership to site operations by establishing the technology roadmap and working closely with corporate and regional technical teams as it pertains to the quality development roadmap and improvements which achieve lower cost and higher manufacturing efficiencies.
• Lead operational product and process quality improvements using function-appropriate tools such as Corrective Action Preventive Actions (CAPAs) or audits.
• Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

• Bachelor's Degree with 8 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact, influence and build consensus with internal and external teams.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to represent Plexus Corp. in a professional manner.
• Must be able to build collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, especially executive management.

• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
