Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP credentials required
- Experience with high school-aged students preferred
- Proficient with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and low-incidence programming
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services in a school setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 high school students with low-incidence needs
- Document progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and families
- Utilize AAC and customized interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain a consistent schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday Friday (7:30-3:00 or 8:00-3:30)
