Youll guide a class of 10 students with the support of two dedicated teacher assistants, helping every child reach their potential in a nurturing atmosphere. The position follows a 7:30am to 3pm schedule, providing a healthy balance between your professional and personal life.

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience teaching in elementary special education settings, preferably in separate classrooms
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to collaborate with teacher assistants and related service professionals
• Commitment to advocacy and inclusion for children with diverse needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique goals
• Provide differentiated instruction and support in a structured separate classroom setting
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
• Work closely with two teacher assistants to maximize student engagement and success
• Communicate progress and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and district policies
