This position is Direct Hire with a salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related technical field
- Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, product development, R&D, commercialization, or technical customer support
- Background in textiles, polymers, packaging, nonwovens, consumer products, specialty materials, or related manufacturing environments preferred
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, quality, and commercial environments
- Strong technical problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, or process optimization preferred
- Strong technical communication and customer relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagement and market development
The Technical Sales Engineer will support product commercialization, technical customer engagement, and development initiatives while partnering closely with R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to bring innovative products and solutions to market.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on new product development and product improvement initiatives
- Support commercialization efforts from product development through production launch
- Partner with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend product solutions
- Assist with technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer discussions
- Support process improvement and manufacturing optimization initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot technical product or process issues
- Participate in testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities
- Identify market opportunities and contribute to product development strategies
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers while supporting new business development
- Participate in customer visits, trials, trade shows, and technical discussions
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, product development, and commercial teams
- Additional duties as needed and assigned
