The Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center is located approximately 30 miles from Charlotte, NC. The facility employs 400+ full‑time associates in a 5‑shift operation covering 235,000 sq ft and supporting 12,000 SKUs. In addition to conversion, customizing and packaging, abrasives are a significant part of our power tool accessory business. Our ISO‑certified associates engage in BPS, CIP and 5S.

The Warehouse Specialist is a highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven role that oversees and optimizes daily warehouse activities. The role focuses on maximizing warehouse storage and equipment utilization, enforcing supplier compliance, managing third‑party logistics and carrier invoicing, and implementing BPS.
Key Tracking Metrics- Supplier optimization and compliance with powered industrial equipment
- Accuracy and maintenance of material master data and third‑party invoicing
- Maintaining 75%–85% warehouse utilization
- BPS implementation and work instruction maintenance
- Analyze and optimize physical warehouse layout, rack configurations, and pallet storage locations.
- Calculate and monitor pallet handling capacity and adjust warehouse zoning for fluctuating inventory volumes by material type.
- Track and design optimal material movement flows to reduce picker travel time and process bottlenecks.
- Monitor and coordinate equipment utilization (e.g., forklifts, fleet rentals) to align with daily capacity needs.
- Work closely with the transportation coordinator to monitor, document, and address receiving discrepancies, packaging integrity issues, damaged cargo, or late arrivals.
- Partner with procurement to execute chargebacks, vendor RMAs, and supplier scorecard evaluations.
- Conduct detailed three‑way matching of Purchase Orders (POs), Bills of Lading (BOLs), and invoices.
- Investigate invoice discrepancies and determine root cause.
- Maintain material master data updates to ensure system accuracy and compliance.
- Review and update work instructions quarterly.
- Perform 5S audits to ensure compliance with Bosch Production System standards.
- Assist operations when short staffed and during high‑volume periods.
- Perform additional duties as defined to maintain operations.
- Experience with SAP‑ERP systems:
