Maintenance Technician
We're looking for an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production and facility equipment. This role is ideal for a multi-craft maintenance technician who enjoys troubleshooting, minimizing downtime, and working on a mix of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automated systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You'll play a key role in equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and preventive maintenance—helping keep production running smoothly.
What You'll Do- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintenance costs
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Support automated machinery, motors, sensors, control panels, and basic PLC-controlled systems
- Assist with equipment installs, relocations, and modifications
- Use wiring diagrams, schematics, manuals, and technical prints to complete repairs
- Document work orders, PMs, and repairs in a CMMS system (SAP or similar)
- Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and safe work practices
- High school diploma or GED required
- Industrial maintenance experience OR technical training (trade school, military, or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with CNC equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and production equipment
- Basic PLC troubleshooting and electrical diagnostics preferred
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- CMMS usage for work orders and preventive maintenance
- Exposure to continuous improvement or reliability programs
- Industrial manufacturing setting
- Exposure to machinery, electrical systems, and rotating equipment
- PPE required as appropriate
Job Type & Location
This is a permanent position based out of Lincolnton, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
