Warehouse Worker – Outbound Dock Team
This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a high-performing outbound dock team in a modern distribution center. As a warehouse worker, you ensure efficient outbound operations by accurately sorting, securing, and loading products for shipment. The position is physically demanding and requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Sort totes and cases onto designated carts according to outbound requirements, ensuring accuracy and proper placement.
- Wrap and securely fasten carts to ensure safe transport of products from the facility to their final destination.
- Load prepared carts onto trailers for delivery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform general labor and material handling tasks as needed to support outbound operations.
- Follow established packing and production procedures to maintain consistent workflow and quality standards.
- Handle unloading and movement of materials within the dock area as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily outbound goals and timelines.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational policies while performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling totes, cases, and carts.
- Strong attention to detail when sorting products according to outbound requirements.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
- Reliability and consistency in completing tasks throughout long shifts.
- Basic understanding of general labor, packing, production, and material handling processes.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others to achieve shared goals.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in a physically demanding role is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, or general labor environments is an advantage.
- Comfort working with automated systems and modern distribution center technology.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting outbound schedules and deadlines.

WorkEnvironment
The role is based in a modern distribution center equipped with automated systems, offering a clean and organized workspace. The facility is heated but not cooled in the summer, and you will be working on a busy outbound dock alongside a large team of approximately 80 to 100 front-line workers. The environment is fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and each person doing their part to maintain high performance.
The schedule runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesdays off, and shifts typically start at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the work is finished, usually between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Dress code is casual and practical for warehouse work, suitable for a physically demanding role in a distribution setting.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnton, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
