Position Overview
Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Lincolnton, NC.
This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Pay: $16.33 per hour.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 6:00am‑2:30pm. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles support distribution across the US. The warehouse is equipped with state‑of‑the‑art equipment and a safe supply chain environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Six months of related warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted (required)
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a motor vehicle check
- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet Ryder’s driving qualifications
- Must be comfortable using a computer and data entry (AT&T Data Entry)
- Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks; powered industrial truck (PIT) certification required
- Experience operating manual and/or automated equipment such as a packaging line (intermediate preferred)
- Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for safety and work instructions
- Ability to input data into the WMS computer system
- Ability to work overtime as assigned
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
- Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment
- Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
- Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers, ensuring all scanning is completed correctly.
- Help train dock employees on new procedures.
- Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.
- Perform picking and packing duties, checking for evidence of product or container damage.
- Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location’s policies and procedures, including handling of materials within associated logical transactions.
- Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required.
- Participate in workgroup and other team activities to improve warehouse operations and related business functions.
- Perform housekeeping duties for the assigned area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
