Nivram Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Respiratory Nurse (RN) to support residents across our four long-term care facilities. This regional position will travel between assigned facilities to provide respiratory treatments, oversee respiratory care needs, and collaborate with facility clinical teams to promote quality resident care.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with physicians, nursing leadership, rehabilitation staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as ordered by physicians and in accordance with facility protocols
Assess and monitor residents receiving respiratory treatments and identify changes in condition requiring follow-up
Identify residents who may benefit from the Inspiratory Spirometer Program (ISP) and collaborate with facility nursing and rehabilitation teams regarding appropriate interventions
Contact physicians and other healthcare providers to obtain, clarify, or update respiratory-related orders as necessary
Accurately enter physician orders, treatment documentation, and other required clinical information into Point Click Care (PCC) in real time
Develop, update, and maintain resident care plans related to respiratory and ISP treatments
Monitor resident participation and progress with respiratory treatment programs
Communicate treatment plans, changes, concerns, and resident progress to nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary care team
Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, physicians, and other clinical staff to promote continuity of care
Travel between assigned facilities to provide respiratory services and clinical support
Assist facility teams in maintaining appropriate respiratory-care documentation and practices
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
Ensure respiratory care is provided in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and applicable federal and state requirements
Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of care
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute setting preferred
Respiratory or pulmonary care experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute environment strongly preferred
Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC) required
Ability to accurately enter, review, and update physician orders and clinical documentation
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable communicating directly with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary team members
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple locations
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned facilities required
Must meet applicable health and background requirements

This position supports Central Nursing Home, Balmoral Nursing Home, Paul House & Health Care Center, and Winston Manor in the Chicago area.
