Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Customer Service Representative / Sales Support to add to their team in Linden, NJ. In this role, you will support B2B customer orders from inquiry to delivery, while coordinating with sales, production, planning, and warehouse teams. Our client is looking for someone with B2B customer service or sales experience in manufacturing or supply chain, and strong Excel skills.
To be successful in this role, you must communicate clearly, stay organized, follow up without being prompted, and ask questions when something is unclear. This is a great opportunity for someone enthusiastic and eager to learn, with room to grow from customer service into a more customer-facing sales role over time.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order entry, and order follow-up
- Track open orders, due dates, samples, shipments, and customer requests
- Coordinate order status with production, planning, and warehouse teams
- Follow up with existing customers on POs, lead times, and next steps
- Maintain customer updates through email, calls, and open order reports
- Support key accounts with issue resolution and timeline updates
- Use Excel to search pricing, sort data, and track open orders
- Sales or customer service experience in a B2B environment required
- Manufacturing or supply chain experience required

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
