Position Overview

Successful State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Customer Service Manager - State Farm Agent Team Member. We are looking for an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value‑based conversations and remarkable customer experience. Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer‑focused, needs‑based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Work with the agent to identify and support local community events in our market.
Requirements
  • Customer Service experience required, sales experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening
  • Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams

  • Bilingual – Spanish required
  • Property and Casualty license (must have currently or willing to obtain)

About the Agent

Marc Torres has established himself as a successful State Farm agent for our 15 years in Linden, NJ. He has a unique ability to relate, train and develop his team members because he himself started as a Team Member at a State Farm Agency over 20 years ago. While he empowers his Team to "own" their own professional development, teaching is one of his passions along with supporting his team in their career goals.

During his tenure as an agent he has earned many awards (Chairman’s Circle, SVP Club, Life Ambassador Club, Silver Honor Club and Small Business Leaders) but his proudest accomplishments have been supporting multiple team members to advance to opening their own agencies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
