Role Description

This is a full-time, night shift, on-site role for a Medical Technologist specializing in Hematology, located in Linden, NJ. Responsibilities include conducting a variety of diagnostic tests in the hematology laboratory, ensuring accurate and timely results, performing quality control procedures, monitoring laboratory equipment for optimal performance, and adhering to regulatory standards. The position requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine practices
  • Strong Laboratory Skills with expertise in handling diagnostic equipment and processes
  • Experience implementing and maintaining Quality Control procedures for accuracy and compliance
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and applicable regulations
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
  • ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist is preferred
  • Previous experience in hematology preferred
