Overview

Fresh Realm is hiring for a Pack Line Associate
. Pack Line Associates receive produce and raw foods, assemble, ship, label, and/or package foods to customers using manual processes and IT equipment. Follows all safety and health standards.

Responsibilities
  • Receive foods, assemble Meal Kits to recipe specifications, ship kits following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and meet health and safety standards.
  • Work on a limited number of food areas, lines, processes, or items; work is relatively routine from week to week.
  • Operate standard conveyor belts or multiple pieces of essential equipment (approximately 30% of total equipment).
  • Package meal kits following prescribed processes and procedures. Deviation from normal processes must be approved.
  • Rotate and check food ingredients for freshness; receive products and ensure the accuracy of the delivery.
  • Keep work areas/assembly clean, practicing clean-as-you-go.
  • Complete essential paperwork related to food preparation, packaging, or labeling as required.
  • Follow GMPs and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as prescribed.
  • In coordination with the team lead, identify issues with Product, Food Safety, Quality, or Equipment and escalate as needed; may perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 months of experience in a manufacturing environment applying common processes, procedures, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices.
  • Experience applying and enforcing routine GMPs in a chilled food environment is preferred.
Experience And Education
  • Ability to follow all appropriate safety standards in food production.
  • Knowledge of basic math and reading comprehension skills.
  • General high school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent preferred.

Compensation

The wage for this position is $18 per hour
.

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
