Position: IS TECHNICIAN LDAR II

Overview

HPC-Industrial
, powered by Clean Harbors, in Roxana, IL
, is looking for an LDAR Technician II to join their safety‑conscious team at a customer location. The LDAR Technician II is responsible for using an analyzer and electronic data recorder, accurately monitoring components on an assigned route with an industrial facility. You will calibrate equipment to ensure optimum performance of the analyzer, identify leaks, and process leak tags. You will ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain/improve customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services.

Work Schedule

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health & Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and acting in a safe manner
  • Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling & pushing heavy objects
  • Set up and operate automatic and/or semi‑automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation
  • Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherence to production/process specifications
  • Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make adjustments and repairs to equipment
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management and as needed by the HPC Industrial business
Skills and Experience
  • Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment, including Nomex coveralls, a back belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask and escape pack, and a hard hat
  • Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions relevant to geographic location (e.g., high heat index, humidity, subzero conditions)
  • Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, chemical and environmental fumes, exhaust, and highly pressurized fluids
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • TWIC, preferred
  • Confined space entry & 10 Hour OSHA Training (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical ability
